Lauren first discovered yoga in 2008, when she decided to take it as a college elective. After experiencing the benefits firsthand, she knew that it would be part of her life forever. After moving to Dallas, then to Colorado, and practicing at studios in those places, she landed back in Covington and found Love More Hot Yoga. Soon after that, she took the 200 hour teacher training offered through Hot Asana Yoga University, and has continued her yoga educational journey with a 300 hour Kundalini teacher training and a Yin Yoga certification.
Lauren believes that every human has the spark of divinity, and yoga is an excellent way to discover it. Linking breath with movement is one of the most effective ways to purify the body and mind, becoming present in the moment and allowing our inner light to shine through.
In her free time, Lauren enjoys concerts with her husband, reading non-fiction books, discovering the occulted mysteries of this realm, cooking plant-based meals, listening to podcasts, and spending time with her two dogs.
