Katherine Quayhagen is a 500 Hr. E-RYT and movement enthusiast. Yoga has progressively become the driving force in all areas of Katherine's life - professionally, personally, and environmentally. She has been an avid practitioner for 14 years and began teaching Hatha yoga in 2014. After stumbling into deeper study while taking a daily, solitary practice in a hut in rural Madagascar, Katherine realized the ultimate universal need to find comfort and solace in our collective bodies. Currently, she is the Wellness Director for a local residential addiction recovery facility where she has the privilege of sharing yoga with residents every day.
Katherine received her Hatha trainings from Geoffrey Roniger and prenatal yoga training from Jane Austen. She is forever grateful for the wisdom and mentorship from not only these Instructors, but from all students and colleagues courageously moving through the beauty of mindful living. Katherine prides herself in creating space for all ages, abilities, backgrounds and intentions. Her classes are focused on re-opening closed space in the body and tuning in to the subtle vibrations that reside in those forgotten spaces.
Katherine is honored to be the proud Mom of an adventurous, fun-loving toddler and slightly hefty, big hearted mutt.
